The Dominican system is very simple and all purchases are viewed equally under Dominican Law.  In reality, this means that whether you are a Dominican or a foreigner, with or without Dominican residency, all have the same legal rights. Real estate transactions in the Dominican Republic are governed by Property Registry Law No. 108-05 and its Regulations, in force since April 4, 2007. Ownership of property is documented by "Certificates of Title" issued by Title Registry Offices.

Selling your Property in the Dominican Republic
If you are considering selling your property in the Dominican Republic, one of our experienced agents will be happy to visit you to explain the selling procedure and advise you on asking price.
The agent will ask to have sight of and keep a copy of:
  • The Title of Deeds
  • Deslinde (survey)
  • Where Possible a plot plan.
